Patient Rights and Responsibilities
The staff and GPs at Upper Beaconsfield General practice are always working hard to provide the best personalised care to all our patients.
We aim to treat all our patients with dignity and respect, including cultural and personal believes, values and preferences.
We treat all patient information very confidential. The practice will ensure that patient confidentiality is always maintained by all members of the practice team. We follow strict rules when sharing and disclosing patient identifiable information.
We have zero tolerance policy in the clinic and do not tolerate any form of abuse towards our staff or our patients. We request you to treat everyone at the practice and patients with due respect and courtesy.
We always try hard to give you enough information for you to make informed decisions regarding care, including options, alternatives, risks and benefits. The Clinic honours your right to give, rescind and withhold consent. Chaperone Policy:
This Practice is committed to putting patients at ease whenever possible, and if you wish a chaperone to be present during your examination or if you would prefer to be examined by a GP of the same gender as yourself, please let us know and we will do our best to comply with your wishes. Please ask the doctor for chaperone if you want one to be present during the examination. At times, doctor may request a chaperone for intimate examinations.
