Dr Ansshu Malhotra
MBBS, FRACGP, MRCGP (UK, 2008), DFSRH, DRCOG
Dr Ansshu Malhotra has over 22 years experience as a doctor and over 15 years experience as a GP. She finished her GP training in Leicester, UK and attained Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2007. She has worked in many specialities in hospital – including Emergency Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Obstetrician and Gynaecology, Paediatrics & neurosurgery. She was a GP Partner in a city practice in Leicester, UK. She moved to Australia in 2017 with her family to work as a GP here. In addition to her GP role she was an accredited GP trainer for registrars, Clinical tutor and Examiner for medical students in Leicester University, UK; and GP Appraiser for fellow GPs. Currently she is also an examiner for GP registrars RACGP Fellowship exams in Melbourne University.
In addition to her MRCGP, UK and Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), she has also obtained a Diploma in Family Planning (DFSRH), Diploma in Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecology (DRCOG).
She has special interest in Chronic disease management, Paediatric problems, Women’s health, Pregnancy related issues and sexual health. She is an accredited provider of Subdermal implant (Implanon), IUDs (Copper and Mirena). She also does minor surgeries and is an accredited Hepatitis C anti-viral treatment prescriber.She believes in providing holistic care for her patients. She is a compassionate and caring GP and well loved by her patients and staff.

Dr Puneett Malhotra

Dr Puneett Malhotra is a highly experienced UK Trained Doctor with over 22 years of medical practice. He has worked in multiple specialities - Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Diabetes, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology before taking up GP training. With his vision to impove patient care, very soon, he progressed to become the Clinical Director in one of the busiest Hospitals of UK. With his leadership qualities, he set up a new Urgent Care Walk in Centre and took it to a very reputable level. In addition to this he was also working as the Clinical Director of Leicestershire GP After Hours services. He was very much involved in teaching of young GPs, GP Registrars, Nurse practitioners, Paramedic practitioners and medical students.
In addition to his Membership of Royal College of General Practitoners, UK (MRCGP) and Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), he has also obtained a Diploma in sexual and reproductive health (DFSRH), Diploma in Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecology (DRCOG) & Post graduate diploma in Healthcare Leadership (PG Dip HCL).
Despite his busy schedule, he continued to work as a GP in a city practice in Leicester, UK where he kept patient care at the heart of the consultations.
He has special interest in Skin checks, Skin cancer surgeries, Emergency care, chronic disease management, women’s health including Sub-dermal contraceptive implant (Implanon), IUD (Copper and Mirena), minor surgeries. He is an accredited Hepatitis B & C treatment prescriber.

Dr Risa Fukusho
GP Registrar
Dr Risa graduated with an MBBS degree from Nagasaki University, Japan, in 2007. She worked across multiple hospitals in Japan, where she trained in respiratory medicine and obtained specialist qualifications, before relocating to Australia.
After moving to Melbourne, Dr Risa worked across several departments within the Monash Health network. She chose to pursue a career in general practice in Australia to provide comprehensive care, with a strong focus on preventive medicine and continuity of care for patients and families.
Dr Risa has special interests in allergy, respiratory medicine, chronic disease management, women’s health, and preventive health.
She is a caring and compassionate GP who aims to deliver a comprehensive and holistic approach to her patients’ concerns, supporting their long-term health and wellbeing.
Dr Priyanthi Rathnayake
GEneral practice
Dr. Priyanthi Rathnayake graduated with an MBBS degree with honours in 2006 from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. She later completed her MD in Anaesthesiology Part 1A at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, in 2014.
With more than 18 years of experience in the medical field, she has worked in both Sri Lanka and Australia. She gained a wide range of experience while working at Rockhampton Hospital in Queensland, where she trained in various specialties, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and Orthopaedics. After completing her Australian Medical Council exams, she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr. Priyanthi has a particular interest in Women’s health and pregnancy care, Contraception, including Implanon insertion and removal, PAP smears, Paediatric care, Mental health, Chronic disease management.

Prajakta is a registered psychologist and EMDR therapist who works with clients aged 18 and above.Prajakta draws upon her natural empathic and compassionate nature, combined with her knowledge and skills in evidence-based practices, to help guide her clients through the empowering and healing process of therapy. She has a personal belief that despite our histories and circumstances we strive for purpose, fulfillment and growth. She endeavours to incorporate this belief in her work by creating an atmosphere of safety and mutual respect for people to overcome difficulties, achieve an increased sense of satisfaction and gain effective control over their lives. Prajakta has a directtherapeutic style which is always combined with respect, compassion, and a touch of humour to establish rapport.
Having worked as a psychologist in India and Australia, Prajakta has significant experience of working with people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. She views the cultural lens as important when trying to navigate distress, understand trauma, improving quality of life, and reducing symptoms.

- Mohamed, a Bachelor's and Master's graduate in Physiotherapy, boasts over 15 years of experience in various overseas private clinics. A member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, he is approved with WorkCover, TAC, and NDIS. Mohamed is dedicated to achieving patient goals through tailored treatments, emphasizing manual therapy and muscle sequencing for functional movement. Currently pursuing a Postgraduate Master's in Pain Management from Sydney University, he strives to enhance patient care further.

RECEPTIONIST
- Jen has worked in medical administration for over 25 years. Many of you will already know her, as she was one of our receptionists when the clinic first opened in 2019. She left after a few years to gain experience in other roles and has recently joined our team again.
- She is enjoying reconnecting with our existing patients and meeting all the new ones!
- Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and son, walking her very spoilt 12 year old Jack Russell dog, gardening and travelling.
Holly
RECEPTIONIST
- Holly gained valuable experience working in reception, where she handle front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing appointments, answering calls, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly with professionalism and efficiency.
- Outside of work, she played basketball in the youth league for the Frankston Blues, had the honour of representing her state, and celebrated winning multiple championships throughout her basketball journey.
- Alongside this, she's currently studying a Diploma of Social Media Marketing to expand her skills in digital strategy and online branding.
- In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, and planning her next travel destination to explore somewhere new and exciting.
