After Hours & Emergency Care
Upper Beaconsfield GP Practice provides health care for people needing urgent treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
We provide an alternative to the emergency room. Our Clinic caters for all non-life-threatening emergency presentations. We understand people want to receive quality urgent medical care without the long waits associated with emergency rooms and some overbooked medical clinics. The nursing staff will evaluate the patient and determine the priority of patients’ treatments based on the severity of their condition. Our goal is to provide each and every one of our patients with quality medical care and compassion so you are on your way to recovery as quickly as possible. Please note that if we are unable to deal with any emergency for any reason then we may have to transfer the patient to nearest Emergency room facility.
An appointment is essential for each patient. We will however, endeavour to see patients without an appointment, or in an emergency as soon as possible. Please note, unless it is an emergency, the patients with appointment will have priority over walk in patients. For all emergencies. CALL Triple Zero (000). Patient requiring urgent after hours care whilst our Medical Centre is closed will be referred to our on call service. Please call 9044 0753 for immediate advice.
